Shanghai 2007
The seminar in Shanghai represented a significant milestone for The Turning Point. Aside from its significance as the first international spa conference to be held in China, it was also the first Turning Point seminar to be held outside of Southeast Asia and in the heart of a major world capital. The event was also significant because it featured a line-up of renowned professionals from a variety of fields who, through their work, are profoundly influencing the nature and expansion of the global spa industry.
The seminar attracted delegates from 25 countries, and was supported by an impressive array of corporate sponsors. In addition to a conference that offered a wealth of information and inspiration through presentations, workshops and interactive focus groups, Spa Industry Seminar 2007 also featured as entertainment the world-famous performing monks from the Shaolin temple.
