This Gallery features selected items from the private collection of Don Siegel, owner of The Turning Point. Arriving in Asia in 1970 as a backpacking freelance photojournalist, Don eventually settled in Singapore where he established a full-service design firm and made use of the country's strategic location to travel extensively throughout the surrounding region. The pieces shown on this site were collected by Don over a period of 30 years and represent an eclectic mix of Asian antiques, fine craft and ethnographic art, as well as a small selection of items from other parts of the world.

The main aim of The Turning Point Gallery is to expose selected items in Don's collection to museum curators, dealers and other collectors... offering it as a reference resource and as a basis for discussion with those interested in sharing information.
